I am a firm believer that yoga has the power to improve everyone’s quality of life. There are so many different styles of yoga out there that I know yoga can help you achieve your physical and spiritual goals.
Andi Senatro is a Certified Yoga Teacher in the Charlottesville, VA area. Andi completed her 230-hour yoga teacher training at Asheville Yoga Center in Asheville, NC. She has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and believes in the power yoga possesses to help everyone grow stronger physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Andi loves teaching strengthening postures that develop stability and help support different parts of the body. Andi also has a passion for teaching restorative poses that encourage self-love and care as well as invite the student to turn inward and cultivate peace and healing from within. Her favorite poses are restorative ones like a super supported Supta Badha Konasana (Reclined Butterfly) or Legs up a Wall.
Andi has also completed many Yoga Alliance 500-Hour trainings including “Yoga, Psychology and Trauma”, and “Yoga, Mindfulness and Psychology for Mental Health”.

Andi’s style of restorative and Yin yoga makes for the most relaxing classes. Her thoughtful prompts and breathing cues help keep you focused on you and help you forget the outside world. I always leave her classes feeling glad I took the time out of my day to do it.
Andi was sweet and warm and immediately made everyone feel comfortable. She brought everything we would need–mats, blocks, straps, etc. Although we had varying levels of yoga experience, Andi led us through a series of restorative stretches and poses using props and adjustments that made us all feel GREAT. She also guided us through a calming and healing meditation.
Andi is lovely and clearly knows her craft. If you have a chance to work with her and treat yourself and your friends to some self love, you won’t regret it!
I’ve had the pleasure of taking restorative yoga classes from Andi in person, and also virtual yoga sessions when we were in pandemic lockdown. She is well organized and each session was extremely relaxing, leaving me feeling physically and mentally better.
I have back issues that cause me fairly constant discomfort and Andi helped me work through that discomfort with special poses, so that when I completed my sessions I was definitely more comfortable. I would take another session with her any time.
